You can compete or co-op with other human players which is also very fun. There's also a discord with a lot of game activity and its easy to network with other players in making multiplayer games. There's a unique vibe to each playable culture though which makes Kingdoms Reborn stand out more and I hope more people give this game a chance.
I prefer the Norsemen culture and playing in Boreal climates. I enjoy the 4 playable cultures and its fun to raise little armies to conquer smaller villages and making them your vassal. I have enjoyed my 29 hours on Kingdoms Reborn and I intend to invest more hours into this amazing game. Kingdoms Reborn uses a unique card system that gives the builder a random set, yet also useful choices in buildings and its so fun making these immaculate empires.
That's how most real time strategy games are at least. Most real time strategy games are generic with selecting a building to build and the player needs to organize their build into a functioning state.
